Hello Venetians, Thank you for all of your positive reviews and responses to the new "Lucky 7 - Part One" CD, and the "Venetian Vinyl" double LP!
The Holland and Denmark tour in April were a great way to introduce the new songs to our European friends as well as a way for the band to cut its teeth performing these new songs - live. We're happy to announce that "Lucky 7 - Part One" is now available on iTunes worldwide! Check it out and please give us a review on iTunes.
Now it's time to share them with the American audience. Below you'll find some of the exciting upcoming Venice and Log's dates....where you will be able to buy the new CD and Vinyl album or you can use the links in this newsletter to purchase those items online.

"Lucky 7 - Part 1" is the result of two short trips to Hideaway Hill in Vista, California and it is finally here! If you've received our prior newsletters, then you've heard about the reunion of the Venice lineup from the 1990's. However, since we're adding new email subscribers all the time, so let me enlighten the unenlightened...
The M7 (Magnificent 7) lineup was responsible for creating the first official self-titled release "Venice" on Modern/Atlantic Records; co-writing and playing on some of our classic songs as All My Life, Pushed Her Too Far, HideawayHill and People Laugh. That same lineup is largely responsible for the followup releases Garage Demos, Part 1, 2 and 3, as well as helping to create the songs Rivers Never Run, The Only Love I Had, Washington and Lincoln, and If I Were You...favorites among many long time Venice fans.
After releasing and touring in support of those albums, two of the seven moved out of California and onto other projects: our former drummer Scott Crago is currently touring with a little band known as the Eagles and our former keyboardist Monroe Jones has a Grammy for an album he produced in Nashville.
We all stayed in touch over the past 25 years and the original 7 members reunited and spent a couple weeks living together, eating together, drinking together, laughing together...and most importantly, playing music together. The first trip was in November of 2014, when we wrote and recorded a bunch of song ideas that we all took home and lived with over the holidays until our second adventure in January of 2015, when we finished writing and cutting the basic tracks for seven songs. "Lucky 7 - Part 1" is the result of these two retreats to Hideaway Hill. Part 2 will showcase the best of our upcoming Summer reunion of 2015 and will be available later this year.
"Lucky 7 - Part 1" is available NOW at record stores in the Netherlands and on iTunes worldwide. You can order it by clicking the button below or purchase at any of the upcoming shows.

For those of you who miss the sound of the needle hitting the record, we have a treat for you...a double album of the mellower side of Venice titled, "Venetian Vinyl." It's a partnership between Lennon Records and Sony's Music On Vinyl distribution.
The band sat together for days, choosing our favorite acoustic-based tracks from previously released Venice albums...then we sequenced them in an order that we think really flows...giving you a compilation album you can put on, then kick back on the couch, kick your shoes off, grab your favorite beverage and relax while we massage your eardrums with what we feel is the best of our vocal harmonies and vibey tracks we've created to date.
"Venetian Vinyl" is available now at all Venice shows or by clicking this link.
There's plenty more in the works for 2015, including a Venice App for IOS and Android phones, another tour to Springfield, IL in September and much more - so keep an eye on VeniceTheBand.com and our Facebook page for those announcements!
We look forward to a Summer of great shows and hope the California weather will inspire you to get out of the house and catch yourself some live Venice or Logs at one of the upcoming tour dates. As always, we appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you! Here's to us, 'cause we're still here! Best, Michael - Venice
